My Ubuntu Linux laptop boots faster than Expressgate, hehe. But, I love ASUS anyway. I’m choosing them for my next laptop.

No, It’s like a dual boot. Like if you just want to surf the web then just start express gate wait 5 seconds and your on the web.

This is actually brilliant, in the way its easy to use. Of course, anyone decent with computers knows that this is the same thing as dual-booting a very stripped down, fast-loading, linux OS, but this requires no setup, or anything. Just press a button. You don’t even see a bootloader screen. Its great for non-techies.

Shit, I have a HP Pavilion a6745f and starts up fast anyway, and I don’t gotta use that bullshit program you cant do anything on. I can use Vista! yea takes me very short time

The Express Gate is a very good thing. On Vista the Power 4 Gear is working, and the PC is quiet when i’m surfing on the internet. If I start the linux with Express Gate, the fans of my notebook are very noisy, what is disturbing me. It would be good, if you can fix that problem, because that idea of fast booting linux is very good.
Nice cheesy way of appealing to more people with ‘the green advertisement’.
Also what version of linux is it?
I like the potential of this for quick access while on the move. Anyone who might want to try something like this, Google for D.S.L (Damn Small Linux) and try booting your PC from a USB flashkey.
