Does anyone know why no one has this in stock? Its been out for over a month and I can’t find it. Looked on Amazon and Best Buy and they don’t have it. Can anyone offer any help?

January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmDon’t look at just the speed of the processor, things have changed a lot in the processor world. I know its confusing, there’s a lot of factors to look at now.
For instance, a 1.6ghz Core 2 Duo will kick the pants out of a 3.0ghz Pentium 4 processor.
People are shocked that the new mobile i7 processors are lower clocked than the current Core 2 Duo mobile processors but they give more performance per megahertz.
January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmWindows 7 is making me want to buy a new PC! ;-) damm you Microsoft!
January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmThis would be perfect for me if it had a built in DvD. Thats why I won’t buy a netbook. They wont make them with a DvD built in. Seems like you have to buy a 14″ or larger notebook before you can find one with a DvD built in and I want something in a 10″-12″ with built in DvD.
Anyway this Gateway EC1433u is $399.99 at Tiger Direct for those that were asking.

January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmI dislike stuck-on/sticker laptop keyboard decals. They look soo cheap, and even feature on more expensive laptops now?
January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmDoes it over heat?
January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmI saw these on new egg and I have been waiting for an overview.

January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmBut surely its only faster when its packed with looads of memory and a really fast processor? Again call me stupid :D
January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmBecause 32 Bit is way old, and 64 is much faster!
January 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pmCall me stupid, but i just dont understand why such a small notebook/netbook would need a 64-bit OS?
