Nice vid, I have a vga and hdmi on my sony laptop, but I prefer the hdmi, and plus the quality is awesome on a 42 hdtv.
Nice instruction. I only connect to the 42 inch to play games.

March 7th, 2010 at 12:24 ami have a problem can someone help me, i have a HP Pavilion dv5-1125nr, when i try to connect to tv with the HDMI cable, the tv show me the resolution but with black lateral n vertical black lines, i mean not full imagen. like minimized. but when i used RGB cable, the screen get all the space on the tv. I tried to change the resolution, but didint works with the HDMI, plz help, cuz RGB dont give me audio.

March 7th, 2010 at 12:24 amAdjust the setting. If you have windows xp. Right click on your desktop, and go to setting. From there, you will see screen resolution. Play with it a little bit, and you’ll find out… Since I have a plasma tv, it change its resolution to fit the screen automatically.

i just hooked my laptop to my tv using the vga and the mini audio cable, but i cant get the picture to fit the screen. The picture is to large and i need to scroll around to see particular things. how can i get the picture to ft my tv screen?

March 7th, 2010 at 12:24 amYou will adjust the display setting so it fits. You will right click on your desktop to find the settings. The setting are under several different names with each edition of Windows.

March 7th, 2010 at 12:24 amThe graphics are only going to be as good as what you have on your computer. You can change the resolution for an improved look.

38 degrees!? Here in Vancouver we rarely reach that temp, but when it does.. We melt.
