December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amthanks!
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amThanks for that. I only had 512mhz ram and will add another 512. Looks simple. Thought there might be problems taking the back off.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amif the laptop is away from mains power for long, yes. if only a scsi uw would fit.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amyes, you’re right.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amhahaha! yeh as soon as i get mine il be out getting ram and an ssd ^ ^
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amSSD is perfect for laptops ad there shock proof, lighter and use less power.
SSD is fast, the main thing that lets them down is the SATA inteface. That lets down a lot of hard drives. I have SCSI UW 15k on my desktop and there more than twice as fast as normal hard drives. In fact theres not many ssd’s that out perform them.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amssd is fast but the write speed sometimes lets them down. get a Western Digital WD3000BLFS and compare the two in write performance and cost.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amthanks…
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amjust bought mine and I love it, keyboard is full, screen is low gloss and works good in sun, sound is clear, first thing I said is, I need some ram…lol
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amI am getting one of these soon, I plan to upgrade it with 1GB corsair and 64 GB SSD Seagate or corsair. What do you think people? :)
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amWhy?
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amWhat is that on top of the MicroDIMM slot? Is that another MicroDIMM soldered onto the motherboard?
Why do they keep soldering these things on there?
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amIs it sure that you can’t upgrade memory on the new MSI U120?
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amHey, i was wondering if there is a particular type/brand of ram i should use when upgrading to 2 gigs?
thanks, Alex
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amMSI Wind is the fastest.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amI don’t see why you couldn’t.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 ami need someone smart to keep me entertained
want to chat with singles hd
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amMSI wind will be the faster. With the 1.09 bios it runs at 2Ghz. I play Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast on mine with all settings set to max. As others have said put the 7200 RPM western digital scorpio in and you have a netbook that will be just as fast as a desktop.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amput the western digital scorpio black 7200 rpm 16 mb buffer 320 gb in it I have it and it’s BBBBLLLAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZINGGGGGGGGGG
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amWhich computer will be fastest? MSI Wind U100 or Eee PC 1000H.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amThe warranty is no longer voided by upgrading the ram or HD.
December 15th, 2009 at 1:07 amlol…the ASUS eee pc1000h is way easier to upgrade,no need to remove a lot of stuff…only two screws and you have access to the ram and hdd
